Rev Ken O'Rourke
Ken is the senior pastor.
Ken was officially inducted on October 7th, 2007. He comes to Southport in response to God’s call after completing a fruitful 10 year ministry as senior pastor with Kruger Parade Baptist Church in 2006, having had the opportunity to assist in various interim capacities in churches in the Ipswich area in the intervening period.
Prior to entering ministry Ken worked as corporate communications manager for the ABC. In 1992 he entered the Baptist College and while studying there he served as associate pastor at Keperra Baptist Church.
Ken and his wife Shirley have 3 adult children, Stephen, Sharlene and Lyndelle.
