Rev Ken O'Rourke

Ken is our senior pastor.

Ken was officially inducted on October 7th, 2007. With a strong emphasis on biblical teaching, his aim is to build up the church spiritually and numerically in order to have maximum impact on Southport and the surrounding area.

Prior to entering ministry Ken worked as corporate communications manager for the ABC. In 1992 he entered the Baptist College and while studying there he served as associate pastor at Keperra Baptist Church. He was then senior pastor at Kruger Baptist Church before arriving at SBC.

Ken and his wife Shirley have 3 adult children, Stephen, Sharlene and Lyndelle.

Rev Max Warmington

Max co-ordinates the pastoral and small-group ministries and has a preaching role.

Pastor Jimmy Hill

Jim joined us in January 2009. He aims to build up the youth programs within the church, build inroads into the local schools, and have a powerful impact on local kids.

Jim has a fiancee, Christie.
