The Corporate Worship Ministry is an important ministry at Southport Baptist Church. There are many people involved - some at the front, and some behind-the-scenes. The team includes singers, musicians, sound technicians and data operators.

We feel it is important to give our best to God. We want God to be pleased with our worship, both personally and corporately. As a corporate worship team we strive to deliver an end-result that would be considered excellent to someone in the secular world. Just because it's church, and just because we are giving our time freely doesn't mean that we can throw out any old rubbish. We have a job to to and we want to do it well. We take pride in our professionalism, and our ultimate aim is to bring glory to God.

Each person involved in the Corporate Worship Ministry Team needs to be a fully committed disciple of Jesus Christ and should demonstrate the following distinctive lifestyle:
