Women of Worth

The Women of Worth aim to build a strong vital ministry for women at Southport Baptist Church whereby our faith in the Lord, our commitment to each other and our potential for outreach are strengthened and encouraged.

No matter you age or location, whether you are a young Mum, working full-time or retired, there is plenty for everyone.

WOW Breakfasts (monthly)

Every second Wednesday of the month, at 7:30am, the women meet meet for breakfast at a nice cafe. This is a great opportunity for fellowship and a chance to meet build closer friendships. This group is co-ordinated by Sandra Coombs.

WOW Bible Study (weekly)

Every Wednesday at 9:30am, the women are encouraged to meet at the church in a friendly environment, cafe-style. They have a bible study, a time of sharing and prayer, a time of music and worship and of course the obligatory cup of church tea and home-made cup-cakes and other goodies. Shirley O'Rourke is the leader.
